Jordin Wright, an accomplished Journalism and Cinema Studies student at Hampton University, is actively working toward a career as a film producer specializing in thought-provoking films and TV shows.
She has distinguished herself as a recipient of the Merit Scholarship and earned first place in the Hearst Journalism Investigative Reporting Competition for her news package in 2022. In 2024, her passion and talent for the entertainment industry were further recognized when she was named a finalist in the EICOP/HBCU in LA initiative.
Beyond her academic achievements, Jordin is the owner of The Finest Touch, a multimedia business specializing in photography, video editing, and visual content design. She collaborates with clients on diverse projects—from campaigns and events to lifestyle vlogs and clothing brands—bringing creative visions to life with professionalism and artistry.
Her production experience includes serving as a Content Editor for Black Girls Film Camp, where she contributed to the award-winning short film Within.
Jordin’s leadership and dedication also shine through her involvement in several organizations, including HerCampus Hampton U, the Rho Alpha Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Saber Sports, and the HU Marching Force.
